How to Collect Log File

In the situation where 360Converter Offline Transcriber refuses to work, closes it suddenly or crashes, you could collect log file and send it to us by which we can tell what happened at your side, we could either solve the problem immediately, provide a work-around or plan to fix it and produce a patch if it is bug.

Windows

Location of Log File

The Location and file name of log file is as following,

C:\ProgramData\OfflineTranscriber\offlineTranscriber.log

Otherwise, you could explore location or view the log file from Settings -> General as shown below,

Start menu context menu Run as administrator opion Log File Location

File name could be offlineTranscriber.log or offlineTranscriber depending on whether Show Common File Extension

macOS

Location of Log File

The Location and file name of log file is as following,

/Users/[Your UserName]/Documents/OfflineTranscriber/OfflineTranscriber.log

By default, Library folder in above path is hidden. To view it, there are 2 methods,

Method 1: Finder

  1. With either the desktop or a Finder window as the frontmost application, hold down the Option key and select the Go menu.
  2. Click Go to Folder..., or use shortcut Shift+Command+G.
  3. Copy paste path:/Users/[Your UserName]/Documents/OfflineTranscriber, then click Go.
  4. Do not forget change [Your Username] to your real username.

Method 2: Terminal

  1. Open Terminal application.
  2. Type command:
  3. open /Users/[Your UserName]/Documents/OfflineTranscriber

    Do not forget change [Your Username] to your real username.

  4. Press Return key.

Submit Log File

Once you found the log file, send it to us via webmaster@360converter.com. Once received the log file, we will give suggestion based on log file.
